Susan J. Schurman is Distinguished Professor of Labor Studies and Employment Relations in the School of Management and Labor Relations at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey and a former Dean of the School.

Saliem Patel is the former IFWEA Education Programme Manager, a position he has held since 2016. During this time he has developed a diverse and innovative education programme with the active participation of IFWEA affiliates and global unions.

I work as CFO for ABF and has workers within the organisation for 15 years. I have been involved in ABF’s international activities for almost all these years.

Borned in 1972, Isabelle Palanchon is holder of a state degree in youth work and social development, master1 Social Economy Company Management.

Since 1996 I have worked for the Labour Education Foundation (LEF). Our work is focussed on the objectives of building a democratic labour movement in Pakistan.

Maura Adshead is a Professor of Irish Politics and Public Administration at the University of Limerick (UL) and is currently seconded to the post of Head of Community Engagement in UL.

Maira Villas-Bôas Vannuchi is the workers education manager of StreetNet International. Before that, she held the role of organizer for the Americas in the organization for 6 years. Prior to that, she worked with StreetNet between 2011-2013 on the World Class Cities for All Campaign in Brazil.

Simon Parkinson is the General Secretary and Chief Executive at the WEA in the UK. Growing up in Salford, Simon attended both Salford University and Warwick University where he gained a Master’s degree in Public Administration.

My name is Wisborn Malaya. I am the Secretary General of Zimbabwe Chamber of Informal Economy Associations (ZCIEA). I became full time in this position from 2016 to this date after having joined ZCIEA as a member in 2002 when it was founded.
